I Suck At… Reviews GeekDad

From Mike Yee at I Suck At:

Last night, I finished reading Geek Dad by Ken Denmead. Now I suck at Geek Dad. For anyone curious, the book is about projects and activities that a “geeky” father can do with his children. Karen had stumbled upon the book one day and thought it would be a fitting book for me to read. (I am assuming that means she thinks I am a geek.)

We hope you have fun with the projects, Mike. And hopefully you won’t suck at any of them!

My First Two Amazon Reviews

Just want to share the first two Amazon customer reviews, both wonderful. I’m really grateful, folks! Please keep ’em coming!

And special thanks to Daniel, reviewer #2, and a buddy from high school whom I don’t get to hang out with nearly enough these days. See you at Maker Faire, I hope!

Received the book yesterday and after the first read the book is great. There are great projects that I will be doing with my son as he grows up. What else is there to say? I highly recommend this book to any parent who enjoys geeky hobbies, and wants to share them with their geeklet.

Great ideas for ways to spend quality, geeky time with your kids, packaged up in a entertaining read. The projects will get the kids to tinker right along with you, and maybe even learn something while they’re having fun!

Online Customer Reviews Really Help!

I really, really appreciate all the copies that are flying off the virtual shelves at Amazon, Borders, BN (including the Nook), the iBook Store and so forth! I want to suggest to anyone who bought it online to go and put a review up on the site where they purchased up. These reviews really help the visibility of the book to other customers. Thanks so much!
